To promote “Deaf Awareness and the beauty of BSL
To add to the sign vocabulary of BSL Students
To raise funds to improve the quality of life of D/deaf, Hard of Hearing/Deafened and Deaf blind people in Chester and District.
To encourage deaf people to appreciate and perform to music in their own beautiful language.

We are all volunteers helping to support Chester and District Committee for Deaf People (CADCDP) Reg. Charity No. 237910 and Deafness Support Network (DSN) www.deafnesssupportnetwork.co.uk Reg Charity No. 506791
There is a sub committee called “Chester and District Volunteers in Partnership” (VIP GROUP) whose job it is to make sure the Chester Deaf Centre and its users and those registered with Deafness Support Network have sufficient funds to sustain and improve their quality of life.
The funds they raise are used to help provide services and equipment for D/deaf, Deafblind, Hard of Hearing and Deafened people in the Chester and District area. Our funds also support The Deaf Centre in Chester which is a meeting place for not only the Deaf Community but also the wider Community and local Businesses. Much of the funds raised annually come via “Dee Sign Choir”
